Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
1. Do I need a prescription from my doctor?
No, New York state allows for direct access for physical therapists with at least 3 years of clinical experience. However, episodes of care are limited to 10 session (not including the initial evaluation) or 30 days, whichever comes first. Therefore, it is necessary to get a MD prescription for services lasting over 10 sessions or 30 days.
2. Do you take insurance?
No, but I can provide documentation needed to submit claims to insurance for out of pocket costs. Reimbursement is not guaranteed.
3. How much do you charge for a session?
Initial evaluations are $150, follow-up visits are $125. Bundle discounts are available.
4. How do you accept payment?
Cash, check, Zelle, or Venmo. Payment is expected upon completion of each visit.
5. How long are sessions?
30-45 mins
6. How many times per week do you come?
Frequency of visits is based on the individual needs of the client. Generally, most clients are seen twice per week. However, clients can benefit from as little as once per week as long as they are compliant with their home exercise program.
7. Are you a licensed physical therapist?
Yes, in the state of New York
8. Are you insured?

9. Do you have a doctorate degree?

10. Do you provide any services (occupational therapy, speech therapy, home health aides, etc.) other than physical therapy?
